Tolls are collected at physical toll plazas for vehicles whose maximum gross is weight less than 3.5 tons on the following motorways and their interchanges
- A1 motorway: Rusocin, Stanisławie, Swarożyn, Pelplin, Kopytkowo, Warlubie, Nowe Marzy, Lisewo, Lubicz, Nowa Wieś
- A2 motorway: Konin, Września, Poznań, Nowy Tomyśl
- A4 motorway: Katowice, Myslowice, Jaworzno, Chrzánóv, Kreszowice, Kraków
For vehicles with maximum gross weight over 3.5 tons like trucks and buses, apart from sections A1, A2 and A4 motorways toll is charged in other sections of motorways too via e-Toll.
How to pay motorway toll in Poland
The vehicle, whose maximum gross weight is less than 3.5 tons, tolls can be paid using
- Manual Payment: Pay tolls at toll gates using cash, credit card or fuel cards.
- Electronic Payment: You can pay using two types of accounts, prepaid and postpaid. You can pay certain sections of tolls using mobile apps. Those are
Vehicles whose maximum gross weight is over 3.5 tons, you can pay tolls via mobile app or on-board unit like viaBOX device.
Truck tolls are calculated using viaBOX (on-board unit/OBU) and you can invoice tolls using DKV Mobility.

Do you need a vignette for Poland
Unlike most of the european countries you don’t need a vignette for your vehicles to drive in Poland. There are physical toll plazas that charge tolls for vehicles whose maximum gross weight is upto 3.5 tons and distance based tolls for vehicles whose maximum gross weight is above 3.5 tons.
