The Ambassador Bridge
As the busiest international border crossing in North America, this The Ambassador Bridge[2] bridge links Detroit, Michigan, with Windsor, Ontario. Covering a length of 7,500 feet and standing 200 feet high, it has been an iconic symbol of cross-border travel since its completion in 1929. Customs documents are mandatory when crossing the border using this bridge.
The Blue Water Bridge
Embracing the role of the fourth busiest international border crossing in Ontario, the Blue Water Bridge[3] spans the St. Clair River, connecting Port Huron, Michigan, with Point Edward, Ontario. With a length of 6,178 feet and a height of 150 feet, it stands tall as a vital link between Canada and the United States. The Blue Water Bridge allows Highway 402 in Ontario to converge with both Interstate 69 (I-69) and Interstate 94 (I-94) in Michigan. Ontario toll tunnels
Ontario has only one toll tunnel: The Detroit–Windsor Tunnel[11]. The toll tunnel of Ontario connects Detroit, Michigan with Windsor, Ontario. It is the second busiest crossing between the United States and Canada, connecting Jefferson Avenue (near I-375 and M-10) and Goyeau Street.
Vehicles pay a toll fee to pass the tunnel. Motorcycles are prohibited from using the tunnel. Nexpress® account holders pay discounted toll rates.
